I'm a recent grad of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
I'm also a lover of technology and new media.

My life since my family acquired its first computer has revolved around the Internet and technology. I am an avid user of social media and find myself to be an early adopter of these products. Currently, I have accounts with Google+, Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo, Reddit, Digg, and a few others. Along with these social networking sites, I also use music streaming services like Rdio and, when driving, listen almost exclusively to Podcasts. Since I use all these services so extensively, I feel like this puts me in a position to be a "social media guru", as well as someone who harness all these products for the positive use of a company.
As a lover of all things tech, I have extensive knowledge of many different sections of that world. I have designed websites, using Dreamweaver and Squarespace, for myself and clients using my knowledge HTML code and then kept them updated with daily maintenance. I’ve shot and edited my own video, using Avid and Final Cut Pro, for personal and school projects. Along with all this, I have experience with image editing software like Photoshop working on my own personal projects as well as items for others. I find that no matter what tools are available there is always a way to make something worthwhile out of it.
I also have a solid knowledge of what goes into viral marketing campaigns since my focus inside my major of Mass Communications is Advertising. I have staged and executed plans for classes and actually ran a campaign for a musician named Stephen Covell in 2008 and still actively work on his street team. I also have knowledge of the steps needed to move your way up the Google search ladder to find more hits and eyes on your company’s information. Along with all this, I have created copy for advertisements and websites for my classes, which is included with all my other portfolio pieces, on this website, for you to take a look at.
Hopefully, you will find my resume, portfolio pieces, and this welcome page to be a strong first step to a position within your company. I’ve always loved tech, as well as the Internet, and now that I am finally at a point in my life where I can step into that field, and I'm excited about that fact.
